2. What inspired you to be a teacher?
I wanted to have a positive impact on the lives of children. I wanted to inculcate the love for learning in the hearts and minds of children.
3. How long have you been teaching?
30 years
4. What is the best part of your job?
Interacting with the children and the comrade I share with my colleagues who are now my friends.
5. Do you feel that you have had an impact on the pupils that you have taught?
I would hope so. I am hopeful that they realize being an authentic human being is the key to a successful life.
6. When you are not working, what do you find yourself doing?
I have a deep passion for reading so I am always in the middle of a novel. I also love cooking and baking so I am constantly trying out new recipes.
7. What don't your pupils/ex pupils know about you?
I majored in Drama & Psychology.
8. If you could go back in time, what would you change?
I should have had thicker skin and had a “It is what it is mentality”. I should have also not been an over thinker and taken a leap of faith whenever an opportunity was presented to me.
